When Bob and I shoot a wedding, we are always looking for a free 10 minutes before all the guests are arriving and the reception starts. We use that time to grab detail shots. All weddings are loaded with these little details – the cake, place settings, tables numbers, favors, etc…
The bride and groom usually go through a lot of trouble to find unique ways that tell a little bit about themselves. At times it can be a little like a treasure hunt for us because some are understated while others are a bit more easy to spot. Kristina and Ren were not that hard to spot. The Beatles fans had a theme and a color scheme that were as unique as they were easy to find, but the presentation and attention to … well detail … was something we both appreciated.
