Not too long ago we did a post about some engagement photos at Rickett’s Glen. Yes it was kinda cold, and yes I’m done bitching about that now. Global warming? Not at Rickett’s Glen. It was also a day we shot portraits for two couples at the Glen, which is kind of unusual for us. We’ll shoot a couple of engagement sessions on the same day but at the same place is a little out of the norm. It’s such a great location we figured, “Why not?”
It was that day that we had the pleasure of meeting and working with Susanna and Dan, brave souls who weathered the cold and wind to grab some photos. It can be tricky shooting two jobs in one location on the same day. I suspect the easy thing to do would be find a good spot for one couple and fire away and then bring the next couple to the same spot and fire away. And yeah that can happen, but Bob and I worked really hard to find unique locations and positions for each of our couples so their photos would be as unique as they are. We think we did a pretty good job. We want to thank Susanna and Dan for being so great to work with and indulging our ideas for some photos. We’re happy with how they came out and hope you are too.
