So, I decided to take a break from all the wedding and portrait posts lately and post some of my vacation photos from a couple weeks ago.
Steph and I took Eliza to Cape Cod for a week where we rented a house on Swan Pond. We had a great time and did so much in the first 3 days (beach, whale watching, lighthouse, seals, shops, more beach), that I didn’t even mind the next 3 days brought rain , rain and more rain.
On the drive home, we stopped at the Mystic Aquarium in Connecticut, where, for some reason our two-year-old did not want to pet the sharks. She did however spot several Nemos.
It was a fantastic time and great to unwind. I’m pretty sure I got more sleep on vacation than I did for the entire month of August.
Oh well, back to work.
mmmmmm……
Love the panorama feature on Steph’s new camera. A view from the deck of our house for the week.
Same view from the deck at night. Was pitch black, but used an exposure of about 30 seconds to see what I’d get.
The seals came right up to the docks in Chatham waiting for the fishermen to come in.
One of the few nice days for the beach.
Eliza tries to spot the seals.
Finally got the full breach!
I love when fellow tourists take a picture of the 3 of us! We hardly have any photos that include me.
Nemo!
