Road trip! Let’s throw in a little history lesson while we’re at it. Yeah, Bob and I were on the road again and back to Philadelphia – one of our favorite cities. It always amazes me going to larger cities that I’ve been to dozens of times. When I’m walking around I always manage to see something I’ve never seen before. In this case, we were wandering around Old City and stumbled on Betsy Ross’ house. And no I don’t have a picture. Don’t ask. It’s too embarrassing.
We were spending the day with Alicia and Bobby for some engagement photos. We visited Elfreth’s Alley, a place Bobby used to live and the oldest residential street in the country. It dates back to 1702. I hear that kind of stuff, and I’m totally hooked. We also took a trip to their favorite bar Plough & the Stars, Broad Street and Rittenhouse Square. That’s a required trip around the holidays just for the lights. We had a great time with Alicia and Bobby. They totally bought in on getting some good photos in a city they really enjoy. It makes all the difference in the world. Plus it was sunny and 50 degrees in late December!
Here are some of the shots we grabbed.
