I can remember shooting our first wedding. I was so nervous I was almost afraid to move. I didn’t want to miss anything. But like with most things, you get a comfort level with them the more familiar you become. Now shooting weddings is second nature. I can anticipate important moments and make sure I’m positioned to get the best photos.
That being said, Bob and Steph are going to need to have a lot more kids for me to get the same comfort level at christenings. A few weekends ago, I was fortunate enough to take some shots for Bob and Steph at the christening of their son, Lincoln. By the way, I think that’s the coolest name I’ve heard in awhile. Because I wasn’t really all that sure about when and how things happen at a christening, it really reminded of that first wedding when I was feeling my way around. This was just my second. My first was for Eliza, Bob and Steph’s daughter.
Anyway, here are a few shots from the christening. If I haven’t said it already, congrats Bob and Steph. You guys have an incredible and beautiful family. I have to admit, I kind of like shooting christenings. I guess that means you two better get busy. Practice makes perfect!
Rachel - Congratulations Bob & Steph! Beautiful photos!!
