I like to keep things simple. The easier the better. I probably do it just to keep things organized in my head, but in photography we apply it toward the style of our studio portraits. We use just white and black backgrounds for our portraits. Simple and classic. There are a ton of options out there with colors and and designs and they’re fine, but I’ve noticed my favorite photos are clean with the focus entirely on the people and the emotions in the photos. That’s a big reason that our portraits are done that way. So far, we’ve been really happy with the results.
I’m going to break this portrait session into two blog posts. The second one is coming on Thursday. This one, I want to show you some portraits of our new friends on just a black background. I love how the colors pop against the black . Thanks to Frank, Jen and Dylan for giving us the opportunity. You guys were great, especially our main man Dylan!
