Engagement at Scranton Lace

So what’s the perfect spot for engagement sessions.

Is it:

1. On top of a mountain with massive views?

2. Near a beautiful lake at sunset?

3. In the middle of a historic downtown?

4. In a dank, dirty, musty, kind of dangerous former factory?

Oh yeah! Turns out it’s the former Scranton Lace, a sprawling complex of run down, filthy buildings with massive photo appeal. So big props go to Jen and Joe, friends who said they wanted someplace really different and gritty for their engagement photos. When they saw what the place looked like they got even more excited – and honestly so did we. I think the photos really capture the grittiness everyone envisioned when we came up with this place. And thanks to Joe and Jen. Without their vision and insistence that their photos be totally different, this wouldn’t have been possible.

Here are some pics. We’ll probably do a second post from the same shoot a little later. We got a lot of stuff.
