On Saturday, I had the chance to shoot some photos for two of my closest friends Brian and Jane. They wanted some shots of their kids – Anna and Brody – at the Waverly Community House. It’s always great shooting for friends. It’s laid back and a chance to try some different stuff all while catching up on how everyone is doing. Not only that, but Jane is a bit of a photographer herself and brought all kinds of good ideas about where to shoot. She even brought props like butterflies and bubbles. Not to mention the kids were awesome. We were out for more than an hour in pretty hot conditions and they never missed a beat.
After it was all over, the kids and I got together for a quick meeting. We plotted the best way to convince Brain and Jane that some ice cream was in order. The kids were flawless in their execution.
Also, thanks to the Waverly Community House for everything they do for the community. It’s an unbelievable facility and a real asset to the neighborhood.
