I’m not sure there was a moment on their wedding day when Julie and Mike weren’t smiling. Come to think of it, their engagement session was the same way. I actually don’t think I have been around them yet when they weren’t thrilled to be together. These are genuinely good people who were so relaxed on their wedding day and a blast to be around.
To be honest, I didn’t expect them to be so laid back. Julie and Mike are engineers. There were spreadsheets outlining how their big day would unfold. Everything was planned to a tee so the day would be perfect. When the day came, I’m not sure it could have been any more perfect.
I’m pretty sure their wedding planner, Melissa Blase, of Elegant Events, is going to hire Julie if that environmental engineering thing doesn’t work out.
The one thing you can never control on a wedding day is the weather. What can I say? Everything went their way. As a photographer, when you get a sky like this, you have to be ready to take advantage of it.
