The Country Club of Scranton is just a great place for a wedding. Every time I’ve been there – either as a guest or to shoot a wedding – I’ve had a great time. It’s one of those places that has the ability to ooze class but still dole out a bunch of fun. I keep waiting for that streak to be broken but it wasn’t going to be at Julie and Mike’s wedding. Really the whole day was a great time. They have terrific families who really make you feel welcome, and they’re both just so down to earth it made shooting their day a breeze. We really can’t thank them enough for finding us and letting us be a part of it.
Now, on to a totally unrelated note …
Because we’ve done a bunch of weddings in the area, we know the bands and the DJs pretty well. But Julie and Mike live in the Philly area and they brought a Philly-area band that we didn’t know with them. Why do I mention this? Well, because they played the Philadelphia Eagles Fight Song near the end of the reception. I think there were a lot of Eagles fans there – judging by the reaction. I think I might have stopped shooting for a minute just so I could belt out a few lines. Sorry, Julie and Mike. I got caught up in the moment. FLY EAGLES FLY! On to the pics.
