I’m sure somebody smart once said something about business that goes, “If you ain’t improvin’ you’re losin’ ” or something like that. Maybe I just made it up, but either way there’s some merit to the idea. One thing Bob and I have learned is that the simpler you can make things for yourself and for your clients the happier you will both be.
If that’s true then our new services list – that’s a fancy way of saying price list – should be a big hit. It’s much simpler, much easier to understand, much easier to handle and much more attractive. I’ll admit when I look at our previous price sheets I’m a little embarrassed. I don’t think it’s because they were so bad, it’s just that we’re really proud of the new ones. The new ones are 5×5 and fold out like a brochure. The services are better organized and easy to understand and it’s heavy on photos so clients can get a quick glance at the style of our photography. All in all, we’re happy with how they came out.
