Time to schedule your engagement photos

My internal alarm is all screwed up now. I didn’t realize how deeply weather affects everything from my mood to my thinking until this past week. Temps were in the 70s. The sun was out, birds were chirping. (I don’t know if that parts actually true but you get the idea.) Naturally, I started thinking about engagement photos. No, not mine. Come to think of it, I don’t even have engagement photos. Have I mentioned that my wedding photographer sucked. If not, I’ll be sure to tell you about it in a future post. It’s a story worth telling.

Back to engagement photos. Spring is here and it’s time to get them scheduled and shot. Last week would have been great but there’s still time.

But even more important than the weather is the location – not for the reason you might think. Sure every photographer loves a cool location but it’s not as critical as you might imagine. For engagement photos, Bob and I always recommend picking a place that means something to you. You want your images to be memorable because of the quality but also because of the setting. Maybe it’s a park you both enjoy, a bar where you met or maybe a school you both attended. Whatever, it’s worth thinking about before you schedule your photos. We’re up for anything if you are, so let us know and we’re there.
