I was always taught not to brag. I was told it was tacky … certainly in poor taste. It wasn’t really that hard a lesson to learn. I didn’t have much to brag about, unless red hair, glasses, braces, freckles and some pimples are your thing.
But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve also realized a little self-promotion isn’t the worst thing ever. So with that, indulge us for a second here.
Drum roll, please …… Two Sticks Studios was selected for the Brides’ Choice Award for 2012 from Wedding Wire. If you don’t know, Wedding Wire is a website that collects information from around the country about all types of vendors so brides have an easy one-stop place to shop and plan their weddings. They can find photographers, caterers, D.J.s, florists. You name it they have it and it gets a ton of traffic. But what means the most to Bob and I is how we were selected. The rating was based primarily on reviews from our customers. We were just blown away by the number of clients who went to the site and shared their experience of working with us.
Obviously, we are very grateful and believe great photos don’t come from great photographers. They come from connecting with people and sharing the big moments in our lives. A huge thank you to our friends who took the time to review two sticks.
