Two Sticks Studios – Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Poconos Wedding Photographers » Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Poconos Wedding Photography, Senior Photography and Portrait Photography

Brand spanking new intro to the website

The conversation was innocent enough. Every once in awhile, Bob and I run through our list of stuff we want to do once the crush of weddings and senior portraits slows in the winter. Make sure this is done. Make sure this is organized. Send out these emails. Pretty simple stuff. We usually do it over a cup of coffee and it’s a done deal. We divide up who’s going to do what and we move on.

Then he said it. We need to freshen up the website and I have an idea.

Honestly, I loved the idea  as soon as I heard it. I probably loved it too much because I agreed to it … but in the interest of disclosure I didn’t have a whole lot to do with the technical execution. In fact, the hardest part of my job in this process is writing the blog post about it. So if you haven’t already seen it, the introduction on the website is a bit different. Bob and I really wanted a way to introduce ourselves to our visitors. We have an About Us section and we hope you check it out. We also wanted a visual way to quickly say who we are while having a lot of fun and introducing our families as well. Because, believe me, this dream of capturing moments for others relies far more on the support of our families than it ever will our our skill as photographers – and we love them for it.

So please check it out. Just so you have a little background, the photos were shot over the course of less than an hour in my backyard. It was supposed to be warm. It wasn’t. It wasn’t a trained photographer taking the photos but I’d say she did an entirely decent job. Thanks, Mom. Thanks to Bob. He is not a computer programmer but he does play one in this business and worked so hard to pull it together. Great job, my man.

And again, thank you Wendy and Steph for all of your help. We couldn’t do it without you.

Oh, and here’s the link to the homepage. www.twosticksstudios.com
