Cori and Todd wedding | Scranton wedding photographers

Well, I thought I’d seen it all. I mean really how much is there to see at a wedding ceremony, right? Walk down the aisle, kiss dad, a couple of vows, let’s have a kiss, “I now pronounce you,” big applause and done. Don’t forget the chemical reaction! Don’t be mad at me Todd, I know it’s not a chemical reaction, but you never really told me what it was so I’m going with chemical reaction. All right, so what the hell am I talking about it. Cori and Todd had a beautiful outdoor ceremony this past weekend. It was spectacular. It was on a little hill, bracketed by a couple of trees. Just gorgeous. But the ceremony got funky. You see, Todd is a chemist, so he cooked up a little love potion that he and Cori added some dry ice to in a beaker and poof, things started changing color and there was smoke and other fun stuff. Never, never have I seen something like that during a wedding ceremony and it was awesome! But that wasn’t all. The officiant, Alisa, created something new for them. It was called “The Seven Steps into the Sunset.” Here’s how it worked. After they were declared bride and groom, there were seven steps down the aisle and a blessing after each step. At each step, those attending the wedding would shower them with lavender. What an exit and what a great photo op too! So, well done Cori and Todd. You have set a new bar. It really was one of the most beautiful and touching ceremonies I have even seen. Congrats!
