Lisa and John wedding | Scranton wedding photographers

Not too long ago (last week), I was writing about taking photos of the girls getting ready and making the case that there is usually just more to shoot with the girls and that’s true. Guys toss on the tux and out the door they go. But sometimes there is enough time to grab some cool portraits of the guys before they hit the altar. In Lisa and John’s case a little walk from the Radisson in Scranton to the Colonnade was the perfect time to stop for 10 minutes and grab some photos.  I would stress this to every couple getting married. Usually they allow time for some portraits of the bride. Don’t forget about the guys. They like to look cool and some don’t even mind having their photo taken. Plus, it gives them a chance to unwind a little and have some laughs before heading to the altar. In this case, a little stroll through Scranton in 90 degree heat was the perfect solution. OK, not perfect but we had a pretty good time.
