You never know how you will meet someone. Julie found out about our work from her mom, who was friends with the mom of a bride we worked with back in December. When we first met Julie and her parents, we knew she would be great to work with, but we weren’t able to meet Mike because he couldn’t get away from work.
We finally met Mike about 10 minutes before we started taking his picture. Together, he and Julie were so comfortable and relaxed that we knew immediately they were going to be a piece of cake to work with. Maybe it was the glasses of wine they had before we got there. (Note to self: Bring wine to all future engagement sessions.)
We met up with Julie and Mike at Julie’s family cottage on Baylor’s Lake in Fleetville, PA. After walking around for 5 minutes, we had more great possibilities for photos than we could have hoped for. With only had about an hour for photos before they had to leave for dinner, it was a good thing that they were so easy-going and natural in front of the camera.
We got some great photos for them and can’t wait to put them together in their guest book.
