Alright so this will be the last time I apologize for being late on a blog post. It’s time to catch up so prepare yourself because there will probably be a winter flurry on photos flying around.

We wanted to share some photos from a summer trip deep into the heart of Virginia to hang out with Adam and Julie. It was a great time not only getting to know Julie and Adam better, and both Bob and I are travelers at heart so anytime we get to get out of here and go see some new stuff it’s a great day. We love how these photos came out. We had some interesting places to work with and both Julie and Adam were like tour guides so we got an insider’s look. Thanks for making us feel so welcome guys and we can’t wait for the wedding.

I’ve seen pretty much everywhere that 2016 was just a brutal year in a lot of ways. I’d have to agree. It was a total s**tshow at times, wasn’t it?

So now we come to the end of the year, and we’ve all seen a lot of change.
So Bob and I want to thank all our clients for what they have brought into our lives. It can’t be overstated how much each of you mean to us. We’ve shared some big moments with you, and it really is humbling for us. It’s what keeps us coming back. We see it in all kinds of things.
It’s your first dance.
It’s how you hold each other.
It’s your inside jokes.
It’s your hands reaching for each other.
It’s the letters you send each other to read before exchanging your vows.
It’s the gifts you give.
It’s the things you don’t have to say because your partner already knows.
Mostly, it’s how you look at each because you know you have your person.
That’s powerful stuff. And Bob and I want you to know that while we might be looking through the lens of a camera, we see those things and we could not be more thankful that you open yourselves up to us to let us get a glimpse. You guys killed it 2016, and it was amazing to watch.
With that being said, here is a photo from some of this year’s weddings. We think they do a pretty good job of showing your love, why we seek someone to share our lives with and that the nothing can ever contain this amazing gift. Cherish each other always.

Hey all, we wanted to give you guys a look at a wedding from this year at Skytop Inn and Resort, a nice place in the Poconos. There is so much to do at Skytop. It’s really amazing and the building is just spectacular. We even did some photos near a great waterfall that is just a few minutes away by shuttle. Of course. it’s also in the middle of a hiking trail so there was always the curious hiker stopping to grab a peek and say good luck to David and Patricia, our happy couple.

We had a great time getting to know them and their family and friends. The while day was just a blast, from the first look, which I always love, to the time we got to spend with just doing their portraits and hearing their stories. And well the reception is a giant party and I’m good with that every single time. All in all a great day with a great couple. Hope you enjoy the photos.

What can be better than a beautiful wedding with two people deeply in love with each other in a perfect setting? How about a few bands and the groom tossing a bass on for a few songs before getting serious and strapping on a guitar to throw down some serious playing. Yep, that was Amanda and Mike’s wedding day at The Barn at Glistening Pond. It was seriously a great time, with great people, great live music and one of the most beautiful settings around. I’m not sure it gets any better than that. Congrats to you guys on a great day and many happy years together. You’re an amazing couple and your love is obvious to anyone who spends some time around you.

Here are a few pics from the day.

Well you can tell it is getting to be busy season – we have been a little delinquent on our blog posts. Sorry about that. We’ll pull it back together here and get you more photos to show.

For now, we wanted to share Dawn and Bob’s wedding with you from the Colonnade, one of our favorite places to shoot. Dawn and Bob are a really nice couple and we had the pleasure of spending all day with them at the Colonnade in a really relaxed atmosphere getting to know them even better. We heard some stories about how they met and their families and how beautifully their families combined. The speeches were touching and unique and there was so much love between Dawn and Bob it was really an honor to be able to capture it.

Thank you for letting us be a part of a really special day. On to the photos!

It’s not often that dates for weddings jump from one week to the next and back again. But such is the life of a serviceman – another sacrifice to be made in service to our country. Bob and I were so honored to shoot Brooke and Scott’s wedding. It started off easily enough. Hey guys, right now we are looking at March 5 or March 12. OK, no problem. Ok guys, it looks like March 5. Check that March 12. Check that March 5. Final answer. Haha. No sweat we will be there.

And what a great time. There was a beautiful Catholic service and it was followed up with a great reception at the East Mountain Inn in Wilkes-Barre. But I don’t think there was a whole lot of time for recovering after the reception. Scott had been assigned to a base out west so they were packing their bags and getting ready for a new adventure.  So Bob and I want to wish you guys good luck one more time, share a few photos and of course thank them both for the sacrifice they make for all of us.
